Show-Stopping Entry Lighting for a Dazzling First Impression
Designer Brian Patrick Flynn’s Buckhead Home featuring his Brian Patrick Flynn for Crystorama Truax Pendant
You never get a second chance to make a first impression. The entryway is the first space guests experience when they walk through the door. This often neglected area of your home to decorate is a space where you should put your best design foot forward. Lighting is an absolute necessity for the entrance but can also set the stage for the rest of the house. We have gathered some of our favorite entrances to inspire you and tips on selecting the proper size lighting.
SIZE MATTERS
In application, if the width of the foyer is 12’, then the chandelier would be 4’ wide. It is recommended to hang the chandelier approximately 9-10’ off the floor.
7’W x 14’H x 10’D - Chandelier size 30-33”
10’W x 18’H x 10’D - Chandelier size 36-40”
14’W x 22’H x 12’D- Chandelier size is 50-55”
